Tutoring:

Mandatory Academic Tutoring (MAT)
MAT a policy to reinforce expectations and success by asserting that students do not fail. Students will make up the missed or failing assignment in MAT. If a student chooses to not come to their MAT , a detention will be given. If a student misses two MAT’s, then an office referral will be given. MAT is not a punishment, but simply a program to help students be successful.
MAT DAYS:
MAT days will be held on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings and afternoons. I will also try to work in students during any extra class time. I am very flexible with my MAT days, and I will work with you and your student to make sure we get the work corrected or fixed!
Corrections/Re- do Policy
If a student fails a test/project or daily grade, they will have the opportunity to correct and redo the test or project for a better grade. Students must make the initiative to come in before or after school to improve their grade. Students must correct or re do work in MAT.
